Biogas CertificationThe certification system for biogas plants qualifies the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the production process.
The adoption of certification systems ia an effective tool for Administrations to develop focused subsidies policy. The attestation / certification of plants, products or processes ensures that the development policies of supply chains correspond to the respect of qualitative thresholds, to the effective environmental sustainability and to the guarantee of complete traceability of the entire production process.
Certification also constitutes a guarantee for public opinion, which looks now with more interest at the quality and sustainability of products.
ENAMA is developing aspects related to the certification of other agroenergy supply chains, at European and National level, also focusing on voluntary certification schemes that may be a reference point for future development policies in the sector.
Among the supply chains for which the business start-up process is underway, there are the ones related to the certification of biofuels, including biomethane, bioliquids, biolubricants, and so on.
