Innovative technologies (WP4)
Dissemination and training (WP5)
Crea, National Universities and Research Centers, Aiel, Cib, agricultural and forest companies
Especially, in order to improve country's competitiveness, to contribute achieving and going beyond environmental objectives and to contribute directly increasing environmental sustainability of the national energy system, the promotion of energy efficiency represents a milestone to be achieved in the energy sector by 2030, consistent with the European Road Map to 2050.
The project consists of actions and activities for the promotion and development of sustainable and efficient local agroenergy supply chains, through certification systems of processes and products and through an intense and widespread dissemination and training activity aimed at all stakeholders in the sector.
Furthermore, ENAGRI provides for the launch of research and development programs related to innovative technologies and calls for proposals to solve specific problems in the supply chain and to develop and offer innovative solutions to promote energy efficiency, saving, optimization, sustainability and renewability on farms, with full compliance to the continuous national and international regulatory updates .

The Enagri Project was created with the contribution of the italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
The project consists of several actions and tasks:
WP 1_ IMPROVEMENT OF FARM ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Goal: to contribute to the achievement of reducing energy consumption as expected by the National Energy Strategy (SEN) and the "Energy Package" of the European Union for 2020.
Task 1.1_ Improvement, development and promotion of farm energy efficiency
Task 1.2_ Improvement, development and promotion of energy efficiency for protected crops and for related spaces suitable to agricultural activity
Task 1.3_ Dissemination and advertising of Best Practices related to the energy efficiency of the company machinery fleet
WP 2_ RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE AGROENERGY SUPPLY CHAIN
Goal: to verify and control the sectors where it would be necessary to develop research and technical assistance activities, aimed at achieving the objectives of developing renewable energy sources and reducing consumption, at the local, national, and European level.
Task 2.1_ Program to encourage investment and development of Agroenergy supply chains
Task 2.2_ Technical assistance to the Institutions for the development of sector policies
WP 3_ CERTIFICATION SYSTEMS FOR THE AGROENERGY SUPPLY CHAIN
Goal: to implement the development of certification systems for traceability and sustainability, with the aim of enhancing the entire chain of products and by-products as well as plants operating in the agricultural, forestry, zootechnical and agri-food industries. In addition, to provide tools to the legislator to address and define subsidy policies and incentives tailored to the real needs of the sector.
Task 3.1_ Starting of a certification system for woody biomass
Task 3.2_ Starting of a certification system for biogas plants or their components
Task 3.3_ Starting of a certification system for biolubricants
Task 3.4_ Starting of a certification system for farm energy efficiency
WP 4_ RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES SUPPORTING THE AGROENERGY SUPPLY CHAIN
Goal: to provide all sector stakeholders with specific and accurate solutions to overcome supply chains critical issues and to identify /analyze innovative proposals for the development and testing of mechanical means for production and management of biomass, in order to optimize energy production. Moreover, the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the proposed innovations should be accurately evaluated.
Task 4.1_ Initiatives for the development of technological innovations to support the agroenergy supply chains
Task 4.2_ Innovation development
WP 5_ DISSEMINATION AND TRAINING
Goal: to spread and inform about the results of all WPs activities, as well as of the best practices, the development policies and the innovations in the agroenergy sector (energy efficiency, technological innovation, regulatory systems and incentives, quality certification of processes and products ), in order to guarantee a wide dissemination of the project results, both through a broad involvement of the involved supply chain stakeholders and with an extensive training and information campaign on the issues related to the entire project.
Task 5.1_ Scientific and educational publications
Task 5.2_ Carrying out of conferences, seminars and workshops
Task 5.3_ Trade fairs partecipation
