HomologationENAMA is active since long time in this field, with assistance to companies for proper planning and carrying out of homologation.
According to current European regulations, it has been defined as homologation “the procedure whereby an homologation Authority certifies that a type of vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit is in compliance with the relevant technical and administrative regulations”.
Homologations are divided into national and Community.
The complex regulations require compliance with precise instructions concerning the construction aspects and the various equipments that the machines must have.
ENAMA is active since long time in this field, with assistance to companies for proper planning and carrying out of homologation through involvment in national and international Board.
ENAMA currently provides support for the following types of homologation:
- National homologation;
- OECD homologation;
- CE homologation.
Furthermore ENAMA can operate through its international network to provide full support to companies in order to obtain homologation even in extra-European countries, thanks to international agreements with OECD, ENTAM and ANTAM.
ENAMA homologation service includes:
- Support in the design of the prototype to be submitted to testing and inspection;
- Support in the preparation and drafting of the technical documentation (information sheets) and administrative (reports of organization productivity, questions, application for waivers, etc.);
- Administrative and technical assistance to carry out all formalities at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport;
- Technical and logistics assistance to carry out the checks and tests needed for the homologation.
